Donald E. Heselton, Sr., 83, of West Wareham, died August 4 in Tobey Hospital.  He was the husband of the late Carol A. (Demers) Heselton and the son of the late Clifford Hyland and Mildred Louise (Olson) Heselton. 

He was born in Leominster and lived in West Wareham for over 50 years. 

Mr. Heselton worked as a mobile home installer in the area for many years before retiring.  He enjoyed vegetable and flower gardening, solving puzzles and making bird houses.

Survivors include 2 sons, Donald E. Heselton, Jr. and his wife Diane of East Kingston, NH and Brian C. Heselton of West Wareham; 2 daughters, Cynthia Moll and her husband Al of Madison, AL and Christal J. Johnson and her husband Barry of West Wareham; a brother, Clifford H. Heselton, Jr. of OR; 7 grandchildren, Tina King, Cathy Arrington, Aaron Heselton, Aric Johnson, Danielle Johnson, Cory Heselton and Myles Heselton; 13 great-grandchildren; a great-great-granddaughter; several nephews and nieces. He was the father of the late Donna Heselton-Borisoff. 

Visiting hours are from 5 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 8 at the Chapman, Cole & Gleason Funeral Home, 2599 Cranberry Hwy., Wareham. 

His graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday in St. Patrick’s Cemetery.  

In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
