Dorothea Ferioli, 97, of West Wareham passed away on Nov. 13 at Tobey Hospital. Dorothea was the wife of the late Fred Ferioli.

She was born in Somerville the daughter of the late Leo and Carrie (Zanaboni) Molinari. She attended Wareham Public Schools and worked for the Town of Wareham as a cook in the West Wareham School, in the Tax Collector’s office and as a secretary at the Decas Elementary School. She was an outstanding cook.

She is survived by her son Bernard Ferioli and his wife Kaye of Sandwich and her grandchildren Angela, of Baltimore, Maryland and Peter Ferioli and his wife Melissa of Clermont, Florida. She was also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Visiting hours will be from 3 to 6 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 20 at the Wareham Village Funeral Home, 5 Center St. Her funeral will be from the funeral home on Monday, Nov. 21, at 9:15 a.m. followed by her funeral Mass at 10 a.m. in Saint Patrick’s Church, 82 High St. Burial will be private.
