Neighborhoods in East Wareham lost electricity after a vehicle struck power lines Saturday, Feb. 8 on Cranberry Highway.

According to the Wareham Police Department, the driver of the truck was a Plympton man and he will be summoned to court for various motor vehicle violations.

Police said he has not been formally arraigned so his name can not be released.

Power for homes from Meadowlark Drive to Atlantic Boats and surrounding neighborhoods was down for several hours.
