Election season begins
Three people have taken out nomination papers for the April 6 Town Election, according to the Town Clerk's office.
Town Clerk Mary Ann Silva of Dinah's Way has already completed and submitted papers for reelection to another three-year term.
Frank DeFelice of Maki Way has taken out papers for one of two three-year terms as selectman. Chairman of Selectmen Bruce D. Sauvageau and John P. Cronan are up for reelection this spring but, as of this writing, had not yet taken out nomination papers.
Donald B. Hall of Circuit Avenue has taken out papers to run for reelection to the Housing Authority. Two seats on the Housing Authority are up for grabs this spring.
Nobody has yet taken out papers to run for town moderator, assessor, or School Committee.
Candidates have until 5 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 12, to pick up papers, which must be returned by 5 p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 17.
