Elliott T. Denison, 81, of Onset, died Feb. 16 in Tobey Hospital. He was the loving husband of the late Patricia A. (Clancy) Denison and the son of the late Viola Denison.

He was born in Barnstable and lived in Onset for many years.

He graduated from Bourne High School.

Mr. Denison was Navy Seal and a Vietnam Veteran.

Mr. Denison worked as a fork truck driver for Ocean Spray Cranberry Company for many years before retiring. He later worked as security for Onset Bay Marina.

He enjoyed traveling and was a motorcycle enthusiast. He loved annual trips to Laconia and Americade with “All the Gang”.  He meticulously cared for his motorcycle and car.

Survivors include a son, Dennis Denison and his wife, Jane of Fairhaven; a daughter, Karen Denison of Onset; eight grandchildren, Robyne Russell, Ashley Denison, Jason Denison, Joshua Russell, Nichole Westgate, Dennis M. Denison, II, Danielle DesRosiers, and  Michelle Armour; 12 great grandchildren, Julianna, Jadyn, Leanna, Ny’zaiah, Jaleah, Myah, Nyallen, Aaron, Pippa, Alexis, Ryan and Audrey; and many special friends.

His graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, March 16 in Agawam Cemetery, Wareham.
