Emmanuel Church of the Nazarene hosts 'Volunteer, Wareham' Fair
The Emmanuel Church of the Nazarene will play matchmaker by gathering representatives from a variety of community organizations in the greater Wareham area to meet with individuals during "Volunteer, Wareham."
The event will take place on Saturday, Oct. 22 from 1 - 3 p.m. at the Emmanuel Church of the Nazarene, 6 Rogers Ave.
The following organizations will be represented at the meeting: the Gleason Family YMCA, Onset Bay Association, A Woman's Concern, Nights of Hospitality Temporary Overnight Homeless Shelter, CHAMPs Animal Shelter, Good Shepherd's Table Soup Kitchen, Wareham Area Committee for the Homeless (also known as Turning Point, Baby Point, Special Projects).
The hope is to produce matches between the people of the greater Wareham are and the organizations. While the Volunteer Wareham Fair is going on, there will be supervised children's activities. For more information, contact David Shaw at 508-295-9268.
