The Wareham Local Emergency Planning Committee reminds residents that the Multi-Service Center, located at 48 Marion Road, is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. for anyone who would like to seek relief from the heat in the building's air conditioning.

The committee advises that air conditioning is the best defense against heat related illness is air conditioning. The committee also recommends drinking cool, non-alcoholic beverages and increasing fluid intake even if your activity level stays the same.
