Ethelyn F. Carbone, “Bunny”, 81, of Wareham, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 3 at the Kindred Transitional Care and Rehabilitation Center at Forestview. She was the wife of the late Gerald E. Carbone.

She was born in New Bedford the daughter of the late Ralph and Helen (Conway) Oldfield. Bunny worked for many years as a nurse’s aide at the Sippican Healthcare Center in Marion and as a waitress at the Lobster Bowl in Wareham. She enjoyed her family and friends, Yahtzee, Bingo, camping and her dog Hailey.

She is survived by her children: Jeffrey Carbone, of Wareham, Timothy Carbone and his wife Judy, of Carver, Susan Chisholm, of Wareham, Cathy Carbone, of New Bedford, and Linda Gilmore, of Wareham. She was the sister of Bruce Oldfield, of Fall River. She was also survived by 11 grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and many loving relatives and friends.

She was the mother of the late Gerald R. Carbone and sister of the late Marilyn Hiekla, Ronald Oldfield, Donald Oldfield and Richard Oldfield.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, Nov. 9, at 10 a.m. at Agawam Cemetery, Dr. Stillman Memorial Drive, Wareham. Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend.
