Explore nature in Wareham with the whole family
Families can explore and learn in the outdoors through three free nature programs offered in Wareham this fall.
Family Friday Explorations is a series free outings on Friday evenings in October hosted by the Buzzards Bay Coalition and Wareham Land Trust.
Through games and hands-on activities, the entire family can learn about Buzzards Bay’s animals, plants and habitats. The Buzzards Bay Coalition recommends Family Friday Explorations for families with elementary school-aged children.
The events are from 5 to 6 p.m. on the following dates:
"Muddy in the Marsh" on Friday, Oct. 10 at the Lyman Reserve.
"Make Your Own Fishing Pole!" on Friday, Oct. 17 at the Horseshoe Mill.
"Orienteering" on Friday, Oct. 24 at Tweedy and Barnes.
