Police arrested a 50-year-old Falmouth on Saturday, Sept. 1 after she allegedly kicked an officer following a sobriety test.

Angela Antone is charged with operating under the influence of alcohol, assault and battery on a police officer, operating to endanger and other charges after an incident near the Onset Veterans of Foreign Wars Post.

At about 1 a.m., Wareham police received a call regarding a woman attempting to drive while intoxicated. After an investigation, which included field sobriety tests, officers determined that they were going to arrest her for being impaired. As she was being arrested, Antone began to resist by pulling away and then kicking Officer Robert Mclain. While being booked at the police station, police said Antone became violent again and had to be restrained by officers.
