Music from Land's End performs final concert of season on Aug. 16

Music from Land’s End Wareham will hold its final orchestral performance of its 2026 season on Sunday, Aug. 16. The concert, which is the second in a program called “Shared Heritage,” will be held at the Church of the Good Shepherd at 74 High St. starting at 5 p.m.

Concertgoers will listen to Joseph Haydn’s Opus 77 No. 1, Franz Schubert’s “Quartettsatz,” and Antonín Dvořák’s “American Quartet.” The four guest artists performing these pieces are Anna Griffis on Viola, EmmaLee Holmes-Hicks on violin, and Paige Riggs and Anna Dorothea Wolff on cello. Roglit Ishay will compose the performance.

Ariadne Daskalakis, who founded the concert series, will join the performance on violin.

The concert series draws performers from across the globe to Wareham and Marion for four concerts per year. The first two concerts of this season, held in July, were part of a program titled "Celebrating Classical Music in Today's World."

Entrance is by donation, with free seating, according to the program organizers.
