The Greater New Bedford Community Health Center in Wareham, alongside the National Community Health Center, will host the first “Festival of Health & Wellness.”

All are invited to the event on Aug. 12 from noon to 4 p.m., located at the 135 Marion Road in Wareham.

Festivities will include a healthy cooking presentation, games, face painting and raffles.

Center staff will provide information on the center’s smoking cessation program, perform blood pressure checks and give summer safety tips.

The event is a collaboration between the Health Center, the YMCA, Southcoast Health, Father Bills & Mainspring House and Senior Whole Health.
