Francis (Frank) Robert DeLuca, 75

Francis (Frank) Robert DeLuca, 75 of Wareham passed away peacefully June 17 after a courageous battle with cancer. He was the son of the late Mario DeLuca and Blanche (Miller) DeLuca.

He is survived by his wife of over 30 years Bonnie (Reynolds) DeLuca; his sister Claire Lewis of Seekonk; Children Craig DeLuca of Stowe, Vermont; Karen Rioux of Harwich and Lauren Cardin of Onset; step-children Scott Lorraine of Wareham and Joanne Lariviere of Fairhaven, as well as loving grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Francis was born in Boston. He graduated from Boston University with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. He was a senior executive at a number of local companies including President of Design-Mark Industries and Maxim Fire Trucks. At the end of his long and distinguished career he was a consultant to many local small and medium-sized companies, assisting them with operations. His success stories were many.

Frank’s greatest passion was the water. He loved sailing, swimming, snorkeling and just being in and around the ocean. He was also a flying radio controlled model enthusiast, spending many hours building and flying planes with local groups in the area.

Services will be private.
