Frank W. E. “Wayne” Andrews, III, 32, of Rochester, died unexpectedly, July 23, 2011 in Tobey Hospital.

He was born in Wareham and was a lifelong resident of Rochester.

Mr. Andrews graduated from Old Rochester Regional High School where he was captain of the football team. He also attended Central Conn. State University where continued to play football.

He enjoyed vacationing, watching movies with his family, and playing sports with his son. He also enjoyed customizing his cars and riding his dirt bikes. He loved spending time with his friends.

Survivors include his wife, Rachel Alves of Rochester; his children, Frank W. E. “Wayne” Andrews, IV, and Dylan M. J. Andrews both of Rochester; his parents, Frank “Ruffin” Andrews, Jr. and Robin G. (Fernandes) Andrews of Rochester; his grandparents, Nicholas E. and Eugenia Fernandes of Onset; his sister, Jillian Andrews and her fiancé Christian McMillan of Wareham; his nephew, Christian McMillan, Jr. of Wareham; his brother in law, Michael Alves of Mattapoisett, James Alves of Mattapoisett; his father-in-law, James Alves; his mother-in-law, Margaret Alves both of Mattapoisett; his lifelong friend, Jayme “Ott” Pimental of Fairhaven; several aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. He was predeceased by his grandparents, Frank and Dominga (Barros) Andrews and his niece, Gabriella Andrews-McMillan.

His funeral will be held at 9 a.m. on Saturday, July 30, 2011 from the Chapman, Cole & Gleason Funeral Home, 2599 Cranberry Hwy., Wareham followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Patrick’s Church, 82 High St., Wareham. Burial will follow in St. Patrick’s Cemetery.

Visiting hours are from 4 to 8 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Frank and Dylan Andrews Scholarship Fund, First Citizens Federal Credit Union, 2 Fairhaven Rd., Mattapoisett, MA 02739.
