Tai Chi is an ancient Chinese exercise art sometimes described as "stillness in motion." Tai Chi can be practiced by the young and old to promote health, coordination, and concentration. The movements are performed at a continuous slow and relaxed pace with an emphasis on proper breathing and controlled balance.

Tai Chi is an advanced form of Qigong, which was developed 2,500 years ago. The practice is described as a series of exercises to help cultivate the body's energy force.
