Locals will have a chance to meet the next Frank Thomas, Buster Posey or George Springer when players from the Wareham Gatemen visit the Cape Cod Five Cents Savings Bank on Friday, Aug. 1.

The Gatemen will be there from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. to meet and greet members of the community and sign autographs.

Players will sign an official Barnstable Bat Company baseball bat which will be given to the lucky winner of a prize drawing. Children will also receive Cape Cod Five beach balls. Refreshments will be served.

The event will be held in The Cape Cod Five Cents Savings Bank’s new banking center, located at 10 Rosebrook Place, in Wareham.
