The first round of the Cape Cod Baseball League 2017 playoffs begins this weekend with the Wareham Gatemen scheduled to start a best of three-game series against the Falmouth Commodores, the West Division champions.

At 6 p.m. on Saturday, the Gatemen face the Commodores at Guv Fuller Field, behind Gus Canty Community Center off Route 28 in Falmouth. On Sunday, Falmouth plays at Wareham at Spillane Field behind Wareham High School starting at 6:30 p.m.
