George Boyd

George Boyd of Salem Township, Maine passed away after a short illness on October 16, 2024.

He was predeceased by father George H. Boyd, Sr. & mother & stepfather Reno & Lorraine Chepren.

He grew up in Onset participating in Boy Scouts & served as a junior firefighter for the Onset Fire Department. After attending Wareham High School, George enlisted in the Navy in 1959. Upon returning from serving his country, George attended LPN school and eventually became an RN in 1975.

George leaves his children Louise, George III, & Sean, also step children Amos & Zennon Herrera. He is survived by siblings Virginia Eldridge of Wareham, MA, John Chepren of Rehoboth, MA, Judi Wills, New Portland Maine& Jeanne Chepren, Roanoke Rapids, NC.
