Rita Roach wasn't the only Lady Viking honored Tuesday, Feb. 9.

Before the game, teammates presented seniors Asia Strothers, Christine O'Toole, and Ashley Davenport with flowers and a gift in recognition of the team's final, regular-season home game.  The seniors were joined on the court by family and friends to share in the event.

The most important part of the night, the game, went on with the Lady Vikings beating Fairhaven by a score of 74-53.  O'Toole scored a team high 27 points with Lexi Silvia adding 17 of her own.

On Friday night, the Lady Vikings visited SCC rival Case and were again victorious, winning by a score of 64-50.  This time the scoring was led by Silvia with 22 points, and O'Toole with 11.

The Lady Vikings finished out the regular season with a hard fought win on Saturday at Bourne.  A close contest throughout, Bourne led at the half by a score of 30-22.  The Bourne team's gritty play seemed to disrupt the Wareham game through the first three quarters.  In the end, however, that Bourne's strategy backfired as their starters began to foul out one-by-one.  Wareham took advantage for the win. Silvia again led all Wareham scorers with 21 points. Ally Watkins scored 14, and Christine O'Toole had 9.

The three-straight wins this week give the Lady Vikings great momentum heading into the playoffs.  The girls finish the regular season with a 13-7 record overall and a record of 11-5 in the SCC.  "We work hard", O'Toole said after the game.  "I think we'll go far in the tournament"

The postseason schedule will be announced on Friday, Feb. 19.
