Celebrate Dec. 21, the shortest day of the year, with a winter solstice hike beneath the moon and stars at Horseshoe Mill on Station Street from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m.

The winter trails offer ample moonlight and a different perspective of the familiar forests.

Feel free to bring a headlamp. For those who are sans headlamp, the Buzzards Bay Coalition will provide extras.

There are no facilities on site. Please wear sturdy hiking boots and weather-appropriate layers.
