The Onset Foursquare Church is seeking volunteers to decorate their cars and fill them with candy for the second annual Trunk or Treat event on October 31 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Trunk or Treat offers a safe alternative to going door to door and asking strangers for candy. There will be cars and trucks, each decorated with a theme in mind. Some of the themes last year were sports, stuffed animals, and a space ship.

The deadline to apply is Friday October 12, and volunteers must be Wareham residents.
