The Decas Elementary Parent/Teacher Association will be splitting town to host a Bowl-a-Thon in Buzzards Bay. On Jan. 25, students from grades K through 4 will bowl for one hour each at Ryan Family Amusements.

In order to bowl, each student will need a minimum of $25 in pledges to participate in the Bowl-a-thon. All funds raised will go to increase the grade level funding at Decas Elementary School. Pledges will not needed until the day of the event.

For those who are top donors in their respective grades, $15 gift certificates to the school’s book fair will be given out. The top donor in each grade will receive a $25 gift card to the fair. All of the top donors will be published in the monthly Parent/Teacher Association’s newsletter.

As for the bowling, grades K and 1 will roll at noon, grade 2 will commence at 1 p.m., grade 3 will bowl at 2 p.m. and grade 4 will wrap things up at 3 p.m.
