Herbert H. Collins, Sr., 96 of Quinwood, West Virginia passed away peacefully at Lewisburg Hospice on Saturday, January 14, 2023.

Born March 18, 1926 in Fenwick, West Virginia, He was the son of the late Alvin & Synthia (Shoulders) Collins.  He was veteran of WWII serving with US Navy Seabees.  Mr. Collins worked as an auto mechanic for many years.

He was pre-deceased by his wife, Bernice Collins & his former wife Carlene (Larrabee) Collins Grota.  

He is survived by his sons & their wives, Herbert Jr. & Joanne Collins, Alan & Diane Collins, Alvin & Judith Collins, Bradford & Deanna Collins, and his step-daughter, Jacqueline Hays all of Massachusetts.  Also surviving are his caregiver & good friend Randy Williams, several grandchildren, great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. He was pre-deceased by his son, the late Carl Collins, two grandchildren, the late Cynthia Collins & Brian Collins and his siblings, the late Violet Spencer, David Collins, Hazel Groves, Alice Ann Cavendish & Benjamin Collins. 

Funeral services and burial will be in West Virginia.  Arrangements by Wallace & Wallace Funeral Chapels of Rainelle, West Virginia.
