Heroin, LSD among illegal drugs found in Woods at Wareham arrest

Two Wareham residents were arrested for possession of numerous illegal drugs, including heroin, LSD and marijuana, at their Woods of Wareham apartment Tuesday afternoon.

Police said Michael Navarro and Sara Savoie, both 29, were arrested after police executed a search warrant at Apt. 75 in the Woods of Wareham at 11:50 a.m

Before arriving at the apartment, detectives encountered Navarro in the Wareham Plaza area on Marion Road and found about 4 grams of heroin, a plastic bag containing marijuana, and $430 cash in his pockets, according to police.

Police said when they entered the apartment they found Savoie with three young children and in possession of Suboxone pills.

In the apartment, police found a plastic bag marked, “LSD”, which contained several LSD paper tabs, an ounce of marijuana and a digital scale, according to police.

Police said Navarro and Savoie were placed under arrest and later transported to Wareham District Court for arraignment. Navarro was charged with possession of a class A substance with intent to distribute (Heroin), possession of a class B substance with intent to distribute (LSD), and possession of a class D substance with intent to distribute (Marijuana). Savoie was charged with possession of a class B substance (Suboxone).
