High school sports round-up

It's been a bit of a rough week for the Vikings, but the season isn't over yet! Here's a round-up of what's been going on in high school sports.

Baseball and Softball

Wednesday, April 17 the Vikings fell to Old Rochester Regional High School 5-6. The boys didn't fare any better when they dropped one to Bourne Friday, April 19 losing 8-0. The softball team also suffered a  loss to ORR, 4-1 and lost to Bourne 18-8.

On Monday, April 22 the softball team didn't put up any runs, and lost to Greater New Bedford Voc-Tech 12-0, while the baseball team fell to GNB Voc-Tech 8-4.

Tennis

Although overall the Wareham girls tennis team has been having a rough season, currently ranked last in the South Coast Conference, senior Karli Griggs is ranked number two in the SCC individually.

The boys and the girls were scheduled to play Case at home on Tuesday April 23, but both games were postponed.  The girls will take on Case at home Wednesday, April 24 and the boys will play Case at Case on Friday, April 26.
