High schoolers compete for Mr. Wareham crown

A bad boy, president, hockey star, pickle aficionado and others took the stage Thursday night in the Wareham High School auditorium.
But only one left as Mr. Wareham.
Eight seniors competed in “The Real Boyfriends of Wareham” pageant. At the end of the night, which featured plenty of singing, dancing and humor, Nicolas “Mr. Satisfaction” Iamele earned the crown.
Iamele’s talent likely pushed him over the top. Along with another student, Iamele donned rainbow socks, a tutu and performed a seductive dance with a beach ball, all set to Bonnie Tyler’s “Total Eclipse of the Heart.”
Judges awarded third place to Richard “Mr. America” Morell III while second place went to Ethan “Mr. Flamboyant” DelaCruz.
While second and third place went home empty handed, Iamele earned – besides bragging rights – a free tuxedo rental from Dominic’s Fine Men’s Clothing in Plymouth for prom.
Other participants included: Andrew “Mr. President” Thompson, Joshua “Mr. Dill” Lima (for his love of pickles), Michael “Mr. Hockey” Houdlette, Jack “Mr. Bad Boy” Goodwin-Gilson and Jeffrey “Mr. Dough Boi” Bartlett.
