Hollis D. Smith, 95

Carver-Hollis D. Smith, 95, of Carver formerly of Bellingham, passed away at Tobey Hospital on Wednesday September 9, 2026.  Husband of Karen Lee (Nelson) Smith also of Carver formerly of Bellingham. 

Born in Lynn the son of the late Roland and Dorothy (Pearce) Smith.  He graduated from the Ralph C. Mahar Regional High School in Orange, MA.  A U.S. Army, Korean War veteran.  He enjoyed sailing, boat building, playing cards, working out and he had a black belt in Karate. 

He is also survived by his children:  Kristine Carter, Amy Cook both of Ohio and Elisa Smith of Taunton.  Grandfather of Allison and the late Alex.  He was also survived by many relatives and friends. 

Committal service Wednesday September 30, 2026 @ 12:45 pm at the Massachusetts National Cemetery, 1 Bennington Blvd. Bourne.  Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend.  Please arrive at the cemetery by 12:15 pm.   www.warehamvillagefuneralhome.com
