A 55-year-old man hunting off of Minot Avenue Friday morning was flown to a Boston-area hospital for treatment after a fall.

According to emergency broadcasts, the accident happened around 7:30 a.m. Wareham Police, fire and EMS were seen responding to a wooded area across the street from the Brandy Hill Apartments. The man suffered serious injuries to his back.

Police did not release the man's identity.
