Isabelle A. (Richards) Howes, 92
Isabelle A. (Richards) Howes, 92, of New Bedford formerly of Parkwood Beach in Wareham, passed away February 23 at Hathaway Manor Skilled Care Center in New Bedford. She is the wife of the late Frank L. Howes.
She was born in East Freetown, the daughter of the late David and Alice (Ainsworth) Richards. Isabelle attended Freetown Public Schools and New Bedford High School.
She worked for many years as a Bookkeeper for the Lambeth Rope, Co. She is a late member of the Wareham Lodge of Elks 1548, the Wareham Emblem Club #99, and the Freetown VFW Ladies Auxiliary.
She enjoyed swimming, the beach, and bingo.
She is survived by many loving nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. She is the sister in-law of Caroline Howes Chase of Wareham and Pam Richards of Middleborough. She is the sister of the late William, David, and Charles Richards, Elizabeth Lovenbury and Irene Deane.
Funeral services were held February 26. Burial in Massachusetts National Cemetery will be at a later date. Arrangements by Wareham Village Funeral Home.
