James Connolly, 64
James A. Connolly, 64, of Wareham died Sept. 2 in Tobey Hospital. He was the husband of Barbara T. (Mulkerrin) Connolly and the son of the late James and Katie (Meenaghan) Connolly.
He was born in Tuam, Galway, Ireland and lived in Wareham for many years.
Mr. Connolly owned and operated JA Connolly Plumbing and Heating in Wareham and Nantucket for many years.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara T. (Mulkerrin) Connolly; a son, James M. Connolly of Marion; a daughter, Katie A. Connolly of Wareham. His brothers and sisters, Jarlath Connolly of England, Mary Roche of Ireland, Kathleen Fitzpatrick of Ireland, and Patrick Joseph Connolly of England; his grandchildren, Bridget, Norah and Kailin Connolly and Emersyn Elliott-Connolly. He was predeceased by his brother, Peter Connolly.
His funeral will be held at 9 a.m. on Monday, Sept. 11 from the Chapman, Cole & Gleason Funeral Home, 2599 Cranberry Highway, Wareham, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Patrick’s Church, 82 High St., Wareham. Burial will follow in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Wareham.
Visiting hours are from 4 to 7 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home.
