Jason D. Childs, 41, of E. Wareham died Monday, July 4, 2022, at Mass. General Hospital in Boston after a brief illness.

Born in Attleboro, he was the son of Debra Childs of Attleboro and the late Leo D. Cote.  Raised in Wareham, Jason was a top athlete in football and track at Wareham High School.

Jason was a well-established businessman in the Wareham community. He lived generously and was always there to help others and put their needs ahead of his own.  He adored his children and would never miss a sporting event or other activity.

He is survived by his son, Anthony D. Childs of E. Wareham; his daughter, Annabelle Childs of Plymouth; his mother, Debra Childs of N. Attleboro; his siblings, David Childs of Attleboro, James Childs of S. Attleboro, Marie Rose of Wilmington and Scott David of MA.  Also surviving are several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit on Sunday, July 10, 2022 at Chapman Funerals & Cremations – Wareham, 2599 Cranberry Hwy. (Rt. 28), Wareham from 12 noon to 4 p.m.
