JBA Summer League results for week 3
The results are in for week 3 of Wareham JBA's Jason J. Andrade Memorial Summer Basketball League!
The current division standings, with tiebreakers taken into account, are as follows.

Division 2 Boys
Silvia's Concession Runnin' Rebels, 42; Wareham Police Association Eagles, 20
The Rebels' Seth Andrade paced the blowout of the Eagles with 19 points. Danny Minkle scored 11 points while both Kyle Campanini and Beau Vasconcellos hit for 4 points apiece. Joey Silvia and Brandon Minkle added 2 points each.
Bryce Fernandes had 8 points to top the scoring list for the Eagles. James Tobey had 5 points and Marquez Tobey scored 3 points. Joshua Debarros and Tyler Santos chipped in with 2 points apiece.
Nana's Ice Cream Parlor Demon Deacons, 40; Cotter Machine Company Minutemen, 20
The Demon Deacons got 17 points from Justin Lopes and 13 points from Dominic Mello to push the rout of the Minutemen. Vincent Silva-Pierce scored 8 points and D.J. Degrace added 2 points.
Taylor Carlson scored 7 points to lead the Minutemen offense. Richard Hagopian and Tony Lopez had 4 points each. Jonah Depina and Charles McCain hit for 2 points apiece and Desmond Powell added a foul shot.
Division 1 Girls
In Memory of Ann Marie Uva Storm, 16; In Memory of David Silva Sparks, 8
The Storm used a suffocating team defense to pick up their second win of the season. Jillian Mello and Kendall Baptiste tallied 6 points apiece with Amber Borden added 4 points.
Erica Trask and Ann Marie Luppino each scored 4 points to provide the offense for the Sparks.
Team Onujiogu Mercury, 48; Salerno's Function Hall Sky, 24
The Mercury got their offense back on track after a loss last week thanks to 16 points from Tieyanna Yancey and 10 points each from Bailey Colon and Amalia Santos. Tiara Duarte and Monique Yancey scored 4 points each. Marquise Tavares and Jasmyn Onujiogu chipped in with 2 points apiece.
Sasha Miceli's 10 points led the Sky. Gabrielle Lefrancois scored 7 points and Jamie McCormack added 3 points. Maggie Robbins and Abigail Wood hit for 2 points each.

Division 1 Boys
Cotter Machine Company Thunder, 59; J & M Realty Hornets, 33
The Thunder found themselves down by one point at half-time but shrugged off that setback and gave up just four points to the Hornets in the second half to roll to victory. Jahmal Silva scored 35 points to power the Thunder. Sonny Fernandes had 11 points while Cody Tuomala and Gregory Pina added 4 points apiece. Thomas Noonan scored 3 points and Robert Evans chipped in with 2 points.
Damien Perry Jr led the Hornets with 16 points. Nick Pavilonis and Michael Mcallister added 7 points each. Anthony Gomes finished the game with 3 points.
Marc Anthony's Bucks, 49; Sweet D Lakers, 45
The Bucks, playing with just 6 players, edged out the Lakers for their first win behind a game high 22 points from Koby Andrade. John Thomas had 14 points and Travis Johnston added 11 points. John Thomas chipped in with 2 points.
The Lakers trailed by 20 points with about 6 minutes to go but went on a 16-0 run to close the game, falling just short of a stunning comeback. C.J. Merritt and Tyler Rondeau combined for 27 points to lead their team's offense. Dyondre Dominguez scored 8 points and Anthony Oliveira added 4 points. Stephen McCarthy and T.J. Barboza finished with 2 points apiece.
Shirt Shack Bulls, 44; Narrows Crossing Restaurant Grizzlies, 37
The Bulls got 11 points from Alexx Rezendes to hold off the Grizzlies and pick up their second win of the season.
Jamual Sims scored 9 points and Mason Lopes finished with 8 points. Vincent Gomes and Ashantay Tavares tallied 6 points apiece and Naquan Young had 3 points.
Jonathan Warden scored 15 points to pace the Grizzlies. Michael Gill and Josh Onujiogu tallied 8 points each. Terance Newell, Josh Nawoichik and Brian Judge finished with 2 points apiece.
