Jeffrey D. Rose, Sr., 50, of Onset, died Wednesday, October 16, at Tobey Hospital in Wareham. Born in Wareham, he was the son of the late Carolee J. (Lima) Pina and Manuel R. Rose, Jr.
Mr. Rose was a lifelong resident of Wareham and worked as a landscaper.
He enjoyed automobiles, especially Lincoln Continentals, and was a Pittsburgh Steelers fan. He was a goodhearted man and loved his children unconditionally. He enjoyed being with his Bertino Street family, especially his beloved Uncle Davey and his many friends in the Onset area.
The Rose family would like to thank the Emergency Room and Intensive Care Unit nurses and staff at Tobey Hospital for their care and compassion.
Survivors include his two sons, Jeffrey D. Rose, Jr. of West Wareham and Brandon J. Rose of Fall River; his sister, Doris Anne Reis of Wareham; his brothers, Scott Rose of Wareham and Joshua Pina of Palm Bay, Florida, and four grandchildren: Ambur Rose, Izaak Rose, James Morgan-Rose, and Shai Rose.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 19, at the Chapman, Cole & Gleason Funeral Home, 2599 Cranberry Highway (Rt. 28), Wareham at 11 a.m. Relatives and friends may visit from 9 to 11 a.m. prior to the service. Interment will be in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Wareham.
