Joan M. (Macduff) Suddard, 90, of Wareham, died peacefully at home on May 26, 2019. She was the wife of Benjamin A. Suddard and the daughter of the late James Walker and Isabelle (Swarbrick) Macduff.

She was born in Braintree and lived in Wareham for most of her life. She graduated from Braintree High School.

Mrs. Suddard worked as a Laboratory Technologist at Tobey Hospital for many years before retiring.

She was a member of the Church of the Good Shepherd. She loved Round Dancing with her husband.

Survivors include her husband of 69 years, Benjamin A. Suddard ; a son, Benjamin C. Suddard and his wife Lena; a daughter, Jamilynn Suddard Novo and her husband, Lawrence all of Wareham; 3 grandchildren, Kristina Suddard of Killington, VT, Rebecca Novo Shippey of Plymouth and Benjamin W. Suddard of Wareham.

Her graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 5, 2019 at Agawam Cemetery, Wareham. Visiting hours have been omitted.
