John P. Marchand, 77, of West Wareham, died Dec. 14, 2021, in the Sippican Health Care Facility. He was the husband of Joan M. Marchand and the son of the late Paul E. Marchand and Ester (Tucker) Marchand of Bourndale.

He was born in Boston and lived in Bournedale as a child. He graduated from Tabor Academy, class of 1962. He attended BU, graduated from Wentworth Institute of Technology, and taught there upon his graduation for 37 years.

Survivors include his wife Joan M. Marchand, a daughter Misty D. (Marchand) Johnson of Middleboro, her husband Mark, son Jeff P. Marchand of Jupiter, FL, his wife Janelle, sister Judith (Marchand) Crowgey of Blacksburg, VA, and four grandchildren.
