Jonathan E. Stafford, 22, of Wareham, died Jan. 20 in Tobey Hospital. He was the son of Robin M. (Mullen) Stafford and the late Edward F. Stafford, Jr.

He was born in Stoneham and lived in Wareham for most of his life. He attended Bishop Stang High School.

Jonathan worked as a laborer in the construction field.

He enjoyed cooking, barbecuing and using his smoker. He loved his dogs, Blue, Penny, Poop and Bentley.

Survivors include his mother, Robin M. (Mullen) Stafford, of Wareham; his sister, Alexandria Stafford and her boyfriend, Andrew Oliva, of Mansfield; his grandparents, John and Patricia Mullen, of Wareham; five aunts, Nichola Mullen, Esta Fisher, Marie Rago, Cheryl Ladd, Jeannie Stafford, all of Wareham; two uncles, Ronald and Mark Stafford, of Wareham; several cousins and friends. He was predeceased by his grandparents, Edward and Jean Stafford.

His funeral will be held at 9 a.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 26 from the Chapman, Cole & Gleason Funeral Home, 2599 Cranberry Hwy., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at St. Patrick’s Church, 82 High St. Burial will follow at St. Patrick’s Church.

Visiting hours are from 4 p.m. – 8 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home.
