Jordan Marcus (Smoke Dancer) Lopes, 20
Jordan Marcus (Smoke Dancer) Lopes, 20, of West Wareham died November 17, after injuries he sustained in an automobile accident. He was the son of Joslyn D. Redd and Jonathan C. Lopes.
Jordan was born in Barnstable and lived most of his life in Wareham. He graduated from Wareham High School, class of 2010. He was attending Cape Cod Community College in Hyannis where he was studying business management. Jordan was a weekly host at the college radio station WKKL. His passion was music.
He enjoyed snowboarding, kayaking and hanging with his friends and family. Jordan had a perfect smile and had a contagious laugh.
He was a Wampanoag Tribal member and was known as Smoke Dancer.
Jordan worked at Kool Kone since he was 14 years old. It was a job he truly loved.
Survivors include his mother, Joslyn D. Redd of West Wareham, his father, Jonathan C. Lopes of Hyannis; his sisters, Cassandra Lopes of West Wareham and Danielle Lopes of New Bedford; a brother, Nathan Lopes of Phoenix, AZ; his grandparents, Judy Redd, Robert Redd, Pamela Lopes, and Charles Lopes all of Hyannis; his great-grandparents, Rita Redd of Kissimmee, FL, and Kenneth Skidgel of Windsor, ME; many aunts, uncles, cousins and loved ones.
His funeral service and burial will be private.
Visiting hours are from 5 to 8 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 23, at the Chapman, Cole & Gleason Funeral Home, 2599 Cranberry Highway, Wareham. Relatives and friends are invited.
