Joyce (Jackson) Gobeille, 68
Joyce (Jackson) Gobeille, 68, of Wareham, died Oct. 16 at home while surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of Michael F. Gobeille and the daughter of the late Edmund and Eleanor (Simoes) Jackson.
She was born in New Bedford and lived in Connecticut, Texas and Colorado Springs, Colorado, before moving to Wareham in 1992.
Mrs. Gobeille worked as a quality control inspector at Titleist Company for 10 years before retiring. Previously she owned and operated Precious Cargo Learning and Daycare Center in Colorado Springs.
She was a Brownie and Girl Scout Leader and School Volunteer for her children for many years.
Survivors include her husband, Michael F. Gobeille; her daughters, Sherry Fournier and her husband Brian of Fairhaven and Melody Davison, of Wareham; her siblings, Jackie Jackson of Panama City, Florida, Caroline Jackson of Hawaii and Lily Stray of Texas; three grandchildren, Brian Fournier, Jr., Crystal Davison and Stephanie Davison; a great grandson, Michael Pranic.
The family wishes to thank all the wonderful doctors and nurses who tended to Joyce at Tobey Hospital and to Hospice for their guidance, sympathy and compassionate care.
Her funeral service will be private.
