On the morning of June 21, 2022, the spunky & beloved, Judith Jane Rogers passed away. After a tough battle with cancer, leaving the pain behind; she is now at peace and reunited with her daughter, Suzie, son, Stephen and grandson, Owen.

Judy was strong, independent and progressive. She created a loving home for her family & friends; always welcoming to anyone, anywhere she lived. After growing up and raising her family in New England Judy decided to head out west to Oregon. In Oregon she enjoyed the weather, going on adventures, playing cards with her good friends, pizza & the occasional Tanqueray from the Muddy Rudder. A few years later Judy moved to South Carolina, where she was able to spend her final days surrounded by her siblings, her children, grandchildren and good friends. She was also a previous resident of Wareham.

Judy was amazing in so many ways, usually with a book or knitting needle in hand. Those who had the opportunity to meet and get to know her, admired her love for her family, her strength, her wisdom, her cooking and master knitting skills.

Judy will continue to be loved and remembered by many; including her sister, Barbara, brother, Malcom, children: Bruce, Kerry, Elizabeth and Douglas; her grandchildren: Zach, Chelsea, Althea and Case. And her dog, Nora.

Relatives and friends are invited to a memorial service at Chapman Funerals & Cremations, 2599 Cranberry Hwy. (Rt. 28), Wareham, MA 02571 on Saturday, July 9, 2022 at 1 p.m. Interment will follow at Cushing Cemetery in Mattapoisett.
