A Kingston man has been charged with drunk driving and speeding after a crash on Cranberry Highway Thursday night. Police said the car rolled over three times before coming to a rest near Red Brook Road with two people trapped inside.

Brian Cluff, 34, of 12 Wapping Lane, is being summoned to court on the following charges: operating under the influence, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, marked lanes and speeding.

Wareham Police said Cluff and an unidentified passenger left Bourne headed west on Cranberry Highway. Police said the the vehicle began sliding, struck boulders on the roadside and then rolled over.

Onset Fire Department personnel arrived and removed both people from the car. Police said multiple empty beer cans were found inside the car and Cluff appeared to be intoxicated. Both were treated for minor injuries at Tobey Hospital.
