Land Trust goes batty, hits ‘benchmark’ for Trail Days

The Wareham Land Trust is offering two opportunities for residents to give back to the community this month.
On Saturday, Jan. 14 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., volunteers will install bat houses at the Agawam River Trail, located at the end of Knowles Avenue in East Wareham, and the Marks Cove Conservation Area at the end of Nicholas Drive.
On Tuesday, Jan. 24 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., volunteers will return to Agawam River Trail to build and install benches.
Volunteers must bring their own gloves, water and appropriate woods attire. Remember to wear blaze orange.
