What would it be like to attend a presidential function or a state dinner at the White House? What do the President’s family quarters look like?
Former White House butler Alan DeValerio will answer these questions and more, offering up inside details about all the preparations involved in White House entertaining and how it has evolved over the years from FDR to the present.
DeValerio will appear in the community room of the Wareham Council on Aging, 48 Marion Road, at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, June 30. He will discuss his firsthand experiences, share stories and display many of the White House artifacts he has collected over the years.
Call 508-291-3130 to register for the presentation.
