Legal Notice to Bidders

INVITATION TO BID
SEALED BIDS for the Wareham Water Pollution Control Facility shall be received at the Water Pollution Control Facility, 6 Tony’s Lane, Wareham, MA 02571 by 9:00 A.M. Wednesday, December 15, 2021 at which time and place will be publicly opened and read. Phone calls, telegrams, postmarks, etc. shall not be considered. Bids not submitted on original bid forms shall be deemed non-responsive. Bid submissions must be made in a sealed envelope clearly marked “Water Pollution Control Facility, Biofilter for EQ/Sludge Tank #22-IFB-01”. The Town of Wareham assumes no liability for bids mistakenly opened due to improperly labeled envelopes and will return same to bidder without notice.

There will be a mandatory site visit for this project held at the site (6 Tony’s Lane, Wareham, MA). The pre-bid site visit will be on December 1, 2021 @ 11:00 a.m.

Questions concerning this solicitation must be submitted in writing to: Guy Campinha, Director, Town of Wareham Water Pollution Control Facility, 6 Tony’s Lane, Wareham, MA 02571 before 11:00 AM on December 3, 2021.

Specifications may be obtained from the Water Pollution Control Facility at the above address on or after 9:00 a.m Monday November 22, 2021 or on the Town’s website: www.wareham.ma.us under Bid Notices. The prospective bidder is responsible for checking to see if any addenda have been issued prior to submitting their bid. Any addenda will be posted on the Town’s website. All dates are subject to change.
