REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS

SEALED PROPOSALS for the Design of the Lillian Gregerman, 1 Union Avenue, Onset, MA, shall be received at the offices of the Town Administrator, Memorial Town Hall, 54 Marion Road, Wareham, MA 02571, until 2:00 PM, on Wednesday, October 6, 2021. Proposals must be made in a sealed envelope clearly marked “Design Services for the Lillian Gregerman Bandshell, October 6, 2021@ 2:00 p.m.” The Town of Wareham assumes no liability for proposals mistakenly opened due to improperly labeled envelopes and will return same to proposer without notice.

There is a required pre-bid conference on-site on Wednesday, September 22th at 10:00 a.m.

Request for Qualification documents will be available at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 2, 2021 and may be obtained on the Town of Wareham’s website at www.wareham.ma.us/bids-rfps, contacting the Office of the Town Administrator, 54 Marion Road, Wareham, MA 02571, 508-291-3100 x3110, or by email pneal@wareham.ma.us.

The Town of Wareham reserves the right to waive any informalities, to accept or reject, in whole or in part any and all bids, or take whatever other action may be deemed to be in the best interest of the Town.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

The Wareham Planning Board will hold a public hearing on September 27, 2021 at 6:00 p.m. in Room 320 of the Wareham Multi Service Center, 48 Marion Road, Wareham, MA 02571 to consider Petition #31-21 for a Site Plan Review from the requirements of Article 5, Section 590 and Article 15 of the Wareham Zoning By-Laws, to LSE Hydra, LLC c/o G.A.F. Engineering, Inc. of 266 Main Street, Wareham, MA 02571, seeking construction of a ground-mounted solar energy generation facility on a 9.7 acre portion, located at 36, 44, 48 North Carver Road, Wareham, MA (Assessor’s Map 104 Lot 1046, V/B & V/C) in the R-60 zoning district.

A copy of the plan and application is on file at the Wareham Planning Department at 54 Marion Road, Wareham, MA 02571 and may be reviewed during regular business hours. Any person interested or wishing to be heard on the proposed plan should appear at the time and place designated.

To the named Respondent and all other interested persons, a petition has been filed by the Department of Developmental Services of Middleboro, MA in the above captioned matter requesting that the court Expand the powers of a Guardian. The petition asks the court to make a determination that the powers of the Guardian and/or Conservator should be expanded, modified, or limited since the time of appointment. The original petition is on file with the court.

You have the right to object to this proceeding. To do so, you, or your attorney must file a written appearance at this court on or before 10:00 a.m. on the return date of 10/8/2021. This day is NOT a hearing date, but a deadline date by which you have to file the written appearance if you object to the petition. If you fail to file the written appearance by the return date, action may be taken in this matter without further notice to you. In addition to filing the written appearance, you or your attorney must file a written affidavit stating the specific facts and grounds of your objection within 30 days after the return date.
