Leonora (Bitinas) Piepiora, 98, of West Wareham, died June 4, 2011 in the Forestview Nursing Home, Wareham. She was the widow of the late John Piepiora and the daughter of the late Samuel and Delia Bitinas.

Mrs. Piepiora was born in Boston and lived in Wareham for many years.

She was a communicant of St. Patrick’s Church. She enjoyed sewing.

Survivors include 4 granddaughters, Kathleen Chinkus of Mashpee, Cindy Piepiora of West Wareham, Joanne Piepiora of NC and Pamela Piepiora of NC; 4 great-grandchildren; and her friend, David Jones of Rochester. Her 2 sons, John and Robert Piepiora both predeceased her.

Her funeral Mass was held June 7, 2011 at St. Patrick’s Church. Burial will follow in St. Patrick’s Cemetery. Visiting hours were also held June 7 at the Chapman, Cole & Gleason Funeral Home.
