Letter to the Editor: Thank you, Wareham for supporting Catie
To the Editor:
On Sunday, May 16, the community came out in earnest to show support for former Selectman Patrick Tropeano and his family. On March 13, Daylene Tropeano was traveling with her five children on Route 25 when she was involved in a terrible accident that left Catie Tropeano, their nine-year-old daughter, in need of extensive medical care. In the past two months, the Tropeanos' lives have been drastically changed by hospitals, transfusions and rehabilitation.
Many, many citizens came together on Sunday, May 15 to offer support and prayers in support of the Tropeano family -in the spirit of Wareham - which epitomizes the true meaning of family and community.
We offer a special thanks to all the families and friends that attended the successful event. We especially acknowledge the generosity of Cindy and Mike Parola, Cara and Charlie Pillsbury, Dawn and Matthew Underhill, Cindy and Geoff Worrell, of Franklin American Mortgage Co., Kim Houdlette, on behalf of the Tihonet Marketplace, Lindsey's Restaurant, Bailey's Surf & Turf Restaurant, Panino's and especially, Charlotte and the awesome staff of Hong Kong Island.
