The Wareham Library Foundation will be hosting a virtual talk and hike with Alison O’Leary, author of “Best Day Hikes Near Boston.”

O’Leary’s book outlines 60 hikes in Eastern Massachusetts by location, terrain, difficulty, accessibility, and wildlife viewing opportunities.

The virtual presentation will be held at 7 p.m. on Thursday, June 17, as part of the Foundation’s annual fundraiser to support the Wareham Free Library. The hike will be held at 9 a.m. on Saturday, June 19, at the Bentley Loop in the Myles Standish State Forst. In case of rain, the hike will be held on Saturday, June 26.
