More Cooking with Friends, volume two of the Friends of the Wareham Free Library cookbook, will be on sale for $10 at the library the week of October 19 to 23 during library hours.

The cookbook is dedicated to the late Mary Jane Pillsbury, the library's director for 25 years, and it is filled with wonderful recipes, quotes about reading and libraries, and the names of your friends and neighbors who submitted recipes in many categories.There is even a chapter of recipes submitted by children in their own words!

For each cookbook an individual purchases, they will receive a ticket for a free drawing which includes a new KitchenAid mixer, among other terrific prizes such as cookbooks and cooking items.The drawing will be held on October 26.

The library is located at 59 Marion Road and is open Tuesday through Saturday.  All proceeds of the sale will benefit the work of the Friends of the Wareham Free Library, Inc.

The Friends are also now accepting donations of gently used books to be used for the Holiday Sale at the library in December,.
