The Wareham Free Library will start a Stephen King book club with the first meeting to be held on Thursday, Jan. 2 at 6 p.m. at the Main Library, 59 Marion Rd.

Library director George Ripley, who will facilitate the club, plans to read every Stephen King book. The first book that has been chosen is “Carrie,” which was published in 1974.

If interested in joining the Stephen King book club, copies in multiple formats are available at the circulation desk at the Main Library. There is no cost to join the book club.
