The Wareham Free Library’s Mystery Book Club will meet on Tuesday, March 21 at 6 p.m. to discuss “Darktown” by Thomas Mullen.

The novel, set in 1948 Atlanta, follows Officers Smith and Boggs, two Black men recently hired by the city’s police department. 

The two men navigate a city of violence, racism and corruption as they investigate the death of a young Black girl. 

The Mystery Book Club meets on the third Tuesday of every month at 6 p.m.
